Kiryl Nazarau built the VSnap (Vinyl Snap Identifier) app as a Free app with optional in-app purchases. This SERVICE is provided by Kiryl Nazarau and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.

If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

VSnap collects and processes the following types of information to provide and improve our services:

Device Identifiers

• IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers): Used for personalized advertising (only with your permission via App Tracking Transparency)
• IDFV (Identifier for Vendor): Used for analytics and app functionality
• Device Information: Model, operating system version, app version

Usage Data

• App features you use and how often
• Time spent in the app
• Actions performed within the app
• Search queries and identification requests

Photos and Images

• Photos of vinyl records you take or upload for identification
• These photos are processed to identify the record and extract information
• Images are stored locally on your device and in your iCloud account

Vinyl Collection Data

• Information about your vinyl records (artist, album, tracks, condition)
• Price information from marketplaces
• PDF reports you generate
• All stored in your personal iCloud account

Subscription and Purchase Data

• In-app purchase history
• Subscription status and preferences
• Handled securely through Apple's App Store and our subscription management service

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Vinyl Identification: To analyze photos and identify vinyl records using AI technology
• App Improvement: To understand how users interact with the app and improve features

App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

If you grant tracking permission:

• We can access your device's IDFA for personalized advertising
• We can measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns
• You may see more relevant advertisements

If you deny tracking permission:

• We cannot access your IDFA
• You will still see advertisements, but they will be less personalized
• All app features will continue to work normally

Data Storage and Security

Your data security is our priority:

• Local Storage: Photos and app data are stored securely on your device
• iCloud Sync: Your vinyl collection is synced to your personal iCloud account using Apple's secure CloudKit framework
• Encryption: All network communications use HTTPS encryption
• No Server Storage: We do not store your photos or personal collection data on our servers
• Temporary Processing: Photos sent for AI identification are processed temporarily and not permanently stored

Your Privacy Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

Access Your Data

• View all your vinyl collection data within the app
• Access your iCloud data through your Apple account settings

Control Your Data

• Tracking Control: Enable or disable tracking in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
• iCloud Sync: Enable or disable iCloud sync for VSnap in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud
• Advertising: Reset your advertising identifier or limit ad tracking in iOS Settings

Delete Your Data

• Delete individual vinyl records within the app
• Delete all app data by uninstalling the app
• Delete iCloud data through your iCloud settings

Export Your Data

• Generate PDF reports of your vinyl collection
• Export your collection data at any time

Children's Privacy

VSnap does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take necessary actions.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. These countries may have different data protection laws. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information:

• Data stored in iCloud follows Apple's international data transfer policies
• Third-party services comply with applicable data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• All data transfers use secure, encrypted connections

Data Retention

We retain your data as follows:

• Vinyl Collection Data: Retained in your iCloud account until you delete it
• Analytics Data: Retained according to each service provider's policy (typically 14-26 months)
• Photos: Stored locally on your device and in iCloud; not stored on our servers
• Subscription Data: Retained for the duration of your subscription plus required legal retention periods

Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by:

• Posting the new Privacy Policy on this page
• Updating the "Last updated" date at the top
• Notifying you through the app (for significant changes)

Changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
